Casey’s Furniture Gives to Kids and Teens Appeal

Renowned family- run business, Casey?s Furniture, spread some Christmas cheer over the festive season with its fabulous window display and ‘Selfie with Santa’ initiative which raised funds for our Kids and Teens Appeal as well as the Children?s Leukaemia Association.

Casey?s window display last Christmas was an enchanting one and members of the public were invited to be part of the display by taking a seat beside Santa Claus to get their ?Selfie with Santa?. The initiative caused a great stir at their iconic Oliver Plunkett Street store and saw people young and old pop in for their ?Selfie with Santa? and in turn support the Mercy Kids and Teens Appeal and the Children?s Leukaemia Association.

We were delighted to visit their store this week to accept the cheque for ?2,890 which will help our Mercy Kids and Teens Appeal. A big thank you to everyone who got involved, to Cork?s Red FM for helping to promote the initiative, and to the wonderful people at Casey?s Furniture for their support.
