Set up Payroll Giving in aid of the Mercy Hospital at your company
Payroll giving enables you to donate a fixed amount directly from your salary each month. These donations will be used to enhance patient care, allow investment in cutting edge equipment and support vital research to be carried out in the hospital.
Payroll giving is quick and easy to set up and all modern payroll systems can easily incorporate this method of donating. You can choose how much you want to donate but if you choose to give more than €250 a year (or €21 a month) your donations can have double impact.
The Mercy can claim tax back on your donations by simply asking you to sign a form which we will send to you at the right time each year. Read more about tax effective giving here.
The staff at O’Sullivan Brothers Express Kitchens contribute to The Mercy via Payroll Giving. Lesley Fitzgerald explains why:
“O’Sullivan Brothers staff have been contributing to The Mercy for the last 10 years. Employees volunteer to sign up to the project, and each month we deduct the agreed donation from the employee’s salary. The staff feel that it is a very worthy charity, and we will continue to support the Hospital. Together, over the years, we have raised €50,000 for The Mercy Hospital.”
