The Mercy Hospital Foundation is raising funds for the Mercy University Hospital to purchase state-of-the-art equipment, to enhance and develop services and to help Hospital staff in providing a world-class service in a world-class hospital. Will you join #TeamMercy this year? The Echo Women’s Cork Mini Marathon is back and set to be another huge success this year. For this year’s event there’s a new 5km route and earlier start time.

The Ultimate Girl’s Day Out! The Echo Cork Mini Marathon is the feel good event of the year with dozen’s of women walking, jogging and running under the #TeamMercy banner. The atmosphere is always special with people participating in support of loved ones, in memory of someone special and to show their support and gratitude to the staff of the Mercy Hospital for the care their show their patients and their families.

Get the girls together and start planning your September get-together in support of the Mercy Hospital. The event is planned for Sunday 17th September and we’ll give you everything you need to make the day extra special from t-shirts, balloons and sponsorship cards as well as help with your online fundraising.

 

 

Remember! You must register for your place in the Cork Mini Marathon (on the Mini Marathon website HERE as well as registering with us if you want to take part in aid of The Mercy).

Run / Walk / Jog to support Cancer Services

Proceeds raised will benefit the Mercy Cancer Appeal to fund key services and advancements in the treatment of and research into many cancers and in particular The Mercy Cancer CARE Centre. The Cancer CARE Centre which will provide a quiet, safe place for patients and families dealing with a cancer diagnosis to come to receive support through their cancer journey.

The Echo Mini Marathon is a fantastic way to bring family and friends together for a truly memorable event followed by a well-deserved celebration at the Old Oak After Party where participants are treated to refreshments, live entertainment, spot prizes and more.

Did you know that lots of companies offer schemes where they will match the money you raise to support the charity of your choice? Why not check out if your employer offers such a scheme. You could raise even more money for the Mercy Cancer Appeal.
