School Fundraiser

School Fundraiser

Each year, we work with a number of schools and their energetic students to raise funds and awareness for the Mercy Hospital in an effort to support the hospital in delivering the highest quality of care to its patients. We really enjoy working with primary and secondary schools – the energy, concern and unyielding creativity of young people always amaze us.

What can you do?

Take a look at our A-Z list of fundraising ideas for some inspiration. You could organise a sponsored walk, a coffee morning, a fashion show, a bag-pack – the sky’s the limit.

Mercy Heroes Day

Each year for Mercy Heroes day, primary schools and secondary schools across Cork and surrounding counties become Mercy Heroes themselves by holding a Non-Uniform Day, a coffee morning or other fundraising event in their school. If you or someone in your school wants to become a Hero, you can sign up here or by contacting us here

“St Angela’s College decided to engage with the Mercy Hospital Foundation because it is in our community; and the work of the Hospital is something we are passionate about. Working with the Foundation offers a great feel-good factor to a huge number of students, giving them the chance to make a real difference by helping the people who need it most.”

Mr. Pat Curran, Principal, St. Angela’s College
